Theft in treasurer’s office has domino effect for county finances
Due to the theft by a county treasurer employee, Stark County commissioners now are faced with patching a nearly $3 million hole in the county accounts and preparing for the reality that they may have to cut future county budgets by $11 million, which will affect services for all Stark County residents.
